If you’ve traveled recently, chances are you’ve booked something online. If you booked something online, chances are you visited kayak.com, travelocity, expedia, orbitz, or some variation thereof. If you’ve used these sites more than once, chances are you’ve noticed they tend to have more or less the same prices.
Airfarewatchdog.com is a slightly different variation, in that all the deals on this site are user-generated. However, before being posted, Airfarewatchdog checks to make sure seats are available at the advertised prices. This also has the added advantage of featuring deals from Jetblue and Southwest, which normally aren’t featured on the external reservation sites.
The deals are also time-sensitive and great for travel on short notice. Unfortunately, the site is still heavily geared towards the users in the United States. Let’s hope they expand shortly.
