We reported on the an endeavor by Fraser Nelson of the Spectator to collect peoples’ wisdom about the different causes of the current economic downturn. We also highlighted our caveats about the situation.
We would like to report that the endeavor has been launched in a wiki format, which means it can be edited by all users. We like the fact that even the remit (the initial questions, some of which we believed were leading), as well as the general format, can be edited. This is a site that will, in its own words “will live or die by your input. So please, get stuck in.”
It will be interesting to see how this evolves. If it has enough participants working independently and if there emerges a way of tallying up all the answers in a comparative form, it may be a good manifestation of the Dumb Agent Theory at work.
