Robert Gebhardt
Robert Gebhardt was born in New York and raised in the US, Argentina and Switzerland. He has worked for the Commodity Trade Finance department of UBS in Switzerland, as a Market Researcher for Synovate in South Korea and, in 2006, he received his Master’s in Public Administration from Cornell University with a concentration in Finance and Fiscal Policy. He now lives in Atlanta, where he is partner and co-founder of a Real Estate Development company and a Natural Stone Import company. His role in these is to set up the marketing and finance functions.
Robert has published articles for The Current and for the International Affairs Journal.
Jason Nagashima
Jason is a self proclaimed Internet fanatic who has lived much of the last decade overseas. He graduated from the American University of Paris in 2005 with a degree in Economics and International Business Administration. Since graduation, he has worked as an IT Consultant / Web Developer in and around Washington D.C. In addition to his work, he actively pursues a greater understanding of the role that technology plays in the global economy by studying Internet trends. He also maintains a personal website, fatpandaproductions.com, where he reports on life’s little anomalies. He also likes to wear matching hats and sweaters… dork.
Rebecca Gebhardt
Rebecca grew up on the sunny side of Switzerland by the Lake of Lugano. She received her BA in Classical Greek language and literature from Vassar College in New York, and then studied Fine Arts and Curatorship with Christies in London, receiving a M.Phil from the University of Glasgow. She currently lives in London and works as Director of Marketing for Linex Legal Ltd. Past experience includes a brief stint with the Brand Management team of Bally AG and working as cultural correspondent for a Swiss news portal.
A keen eye will have noticed a possible relation with one of the blog authors, for which Rebecca will neither claim credit nor accept liability.
Andy Liau
Andy Liau grew up in California where he attended the Universities of California, Los Angeles and Irvine, receiving a BS in Computer Science from UCI. He currently works as a programmer analyst for a financial company. He follows a value-investor approach to evaluating markets. While his fundamentals are somewhat sound, he is quite the noob when it comes to technical analysis, so please excuse the 1st grade chart drawings he comes up with from time to time.
