GDP of US States

This map is a convenient way of looking at the various levels of GDP of each US State. It also puts many country GDP’s into perspective.
We must remind you, however, that these only measure overall GDP levels. They do not show the GDP per capita (or how rich each person would be in each state). They also do not measure Purchasing Power Parity (so while New York may have the same overall GDP as Brazil, many goods and services can be bought for a much cheaper price in Brazil, which would also increase overall wealth).
All in all a cool map though.
