Today is Tax Freedom Day in South Africa, the second Tax Freedom Day of the year (India was the first).
As a reminder, Tax Freedom Day is the day when the average tax payer has stopped working for the government and has started working for themselves.
This Tax Freedom Day was calculated by The Free Market Foundation.
